Pro-Palestinian activists in Melbourne protested the visit of Israel's President to Australia. Demonstrators rallied against President Isaac Herzog's arrival, condemning what they termed Israeli "war crimes" in Gaza and calling for his arrest. Herzog's highly secured trip was undertaken to commemorate the victims of an antisemitic gun attack on Sydney's Bondi Beach, which resulted in fifteen fatalities.
