Jewish Australians have shared their lived experiences of antisemitism as the first public hearings of the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion begin. The Royal Commission was established about a month after the Bondi Beach terror attack, in which 15 people were killed at a Hanukkah event in December 2025. Families of the victims of the Bondi terror attack and Jewish community leaders took the stand to share their lived experiences of antisemitism.
